Martyn is Chief Executive Officer at Inter Terminals Ltd, which operates 16 terminals across Europe, totaling 4.4 million m3. Martyn has a proven track record of strategic business development and profitable growth within strong corporate governance frameworks.
He has 29 years of experience with pan European infrastructure businesses operating within UK plc, private equity and international ownership. He is a strong advocate of safety having previously been chairman of the Tank Storage Association – representing the sector on many senior safety forums and helping to deliver on the recommendations raised from the Buncefield explosions and fires in 2005.
Prior to joining Inter Terminals (previously Simon Storage) in 1988, Martyn held several senior positions including senior engineering officer in the Merchant Navy. Martyn remains a board member of the Tank Storage Association and is also on the Terminals Executive Board of the Chemical Distribution Institute, he is a graduate of Northumbria University.
